I am a PhD student in Management Science and Engineering at Beijing University of Technology, advised by Prof. Shuo Xu (徐硕). From January 2025 to January 2026, I am a visiting PhD student at Indiana University Bloomington.
My research lies at the intersection of scientometrics, bibliometrics, and information science. I use citation data, network science, and topic modeling to study how scientific knowledge and emerging technologies develop over time. Recent topics include:
- Main path analysis with intermediacy for tracing technology trajectories
- Author–topic models with authorship credit allocation
- Disruption indexes computed from open citation databases (OpenCitations, Dimensions)
- Weak-signal scanning for emerging technology detection
Before my PhD, I earned a BSc in Information Management and Information Systems from the School of Information, Shanxi University of Finance and Economics (2016–2020), and joined Beijing University of Technology’s combined Master–PhD program in 2020.
Feel free to reach out if you’d like to chat about scientometrics, bibliometric methods, or potential collaborations.
